Poetry In Motion

My life is little more
Than poetry in motion
Limericks, haikus, and sonnets
Of my everyday existence
Emotions made into words
Preserved forever in rhyming quatrains
Monosyllabic lines of grief and joy
Pain and peace, sorrow and despair
Everything put to paper in glistening ink
So that somewhere, after I am long gone
My life and my struggles will be remembered
Recalled only through dynamic verse
Forever, I will live on
As Poetry in Motion.
