I wrote this in grade nine when we were doing our poetry unit. I was bored and this floated into my mind ready to be planned and written.

Oh and because this doesn't like stanza's being written (as I have found out) in order to split the stanza's into stanza's after the last line of each stanza is a '...' just so their would be a break between each stanza.

As Silent as the Setting Sun

It was coming to an end, that she know

But it had to be silent

As silent as the setting sun.

It had started out noisy,

Like the rejoice of the morning sun,

But it would end silent

As silent as the setting sun.

She had no weapon of choice

All would leave an imprint,

An imprint she had failed to plant.

She would leave silent

As silent as the setting sun.

Nothing had meaning

The rejoice had come and gone,

She spent years alone

In isolation she created.

She wanted it silent

As silent as the setting sun.

They found her in eternal sleep,

Resting now in dirt.

She'll be forever silent

As silent as the setting sun.

And their you go. Hope you liked it.
