THE VOICE TWO

Silver and shining as the light from the window touched it.

You're pathetic.
You stupid stupid girl.
You should just die.
You don't deserve to live.

Her fathers' words ran thru her head like a splittin headache.

You know he's right, a voice said.

"No," I told myself,"No I'm not stupid I'm—I'm not pathetic."

You're the reason why your mom and Dad fight. They hate you

"No—No they don't," I said again.

You should just kill yourself.

No more pain.
I stared at the knife in my hand. Thoughts of what would happen raced thru my head.

No more pain.

Nobody cares about you.
They'll probably throw a party celebrating your death.

A tear slid down my cheek as I slowly realized that it's right.

I turned the knife slowly towards my wrist.

"No more pain."

"Nobody cares," I kept repeating to myself.

"I care,"another voice said.

I stayed still as a statue as the knife fell to the floor.

"I care," That same voice said.

"I love you."
