Already Gone
Why do we do this
To the place where we live
That has so much beauty
And so much to give
We take for granted
All the things she gives
She's like a mother who nurtures
As we lay in our cribs
But instead of treating her
With the utmost respect
We continue to pollute her
Until nothing is left
Destroying the beauty
That the earth once held
Lost in the pollution
Blinded by its spell
Soon we'll regret
All the things we have done
But it will be too late
And nature will be gone.
