Fire

Trapped in the fire

That has engulfed me whole

Looking for the life

That it has long since stole

It burns my clothes

And singes my skin

Causing me pain

For all my sins

Lost for so long

No way to leave

My body is calloused

No room to grieve

So I continue to play

As the fire kisses my eyes

Blinding me in the hell

That I've created with my lies.
