Do You See What You've Done?

by, Cassandra

A flying fist to shatter glass,
Emotions written out in blood.
Now do you see what you've done?
The darkness falls, the fear; it calls
And the terror comes rolling in again.
It's about time to open your eyes.
Can't wait for the day when you finally cry
'I'm so sorry', with understand on your face.
This isn't a fucking act, and you'll see,
You'll pay for your role in it one day.
There wasn't much required of you,
But you fucked it up just the same.
Vacant eyes, staring through,
Seeing the things that others do.
You should have screamed,
You could have cried.
You could have helped,
But instead, you lied.
And me…
I died.
