Something I wrote because I have a habit of writing parts of stories instead of anything particularly intersting.
"Hey, wait." He reached out and grabbed her wrist, pulling her towards him. She turned awkwardly and stumbled in his arms, a surprised look on her face. A few seconds later she scowled and pressed her arms against his chest in a vain attempt to free herself.
"Don't" he whispered, almost to himself more than her. She looked up at him, a skeptical look on her face masking her trepidation and anxiousness. He searched her eyes for any sign of emotion—anything would do. It gave her away.
He didn't hesitate to slowly lean in and brush his lips against her. Her eyes were wide as she froze, a ghost of a feeling locking her in place. A heat spread over her like fire, at the same time, it sent unexplainable chills down her back. Seconds passed, and time stopped. He gently placed his hands on her waist, tapping her hips as she stood, unmoving. She broke the gap, while he leaned in harder, and they pressed their lips against each other.
The world disappeared.
