No, he thought. I already have a girlfriend. And just in time, his girlfriend Amaye Tekkai walked up to him.

"Kio," she hesitated, "let's break up."

"What?! What do you mean, break up?" Kio was shocked.

"I'm sorry. I have no feelings for you anymore. Please,I don't want to lie to you. Find someone that truly loves you." With that, she walked away.

Kio was shocked. He was terrified. The bracelet, he thought. THE BRACELET! It had done that to try to make me like Misa. OR, was it just my imagination? He walked away, thoughts buried deep in his head. Walking, he did not realize there was something on the floor and stepped on it. "Huh?" he said out loud, bending down to see what it was, "The bracelet!" He picked it up and tried to give it back to the rightful owner, but did not know what classes Misa had, so he kept it in his pocket.

The next day

"Help us look! Everyone, help look for Misa's bracelet!" cried Emi, Misa's friend. At that moment, Kio had just come to school, but knew the situation. He was up to Misa, who was busy looking under desks.

"Um, are you looking for this?" he asked. She looked up.

"Yes, thank you!!" she smiles at Kio.

Flashback

In the living room, sits Kio's mother and misa's aunt.

"Neeya," starts Kio's mother, "It is about time we test the girl. Here is the pearl bracelet, put it with a pile of these jewelry. If she picks it, she is the one."

After receiving the jewelry, Misa's aunt went home, and Misa did indeed choose the pearl bracelet. Neeya then told her niece the story. After the story was told, Misa then asked, "But how do I know who he is?"

"Good question. You shall drop it somewhere on the floor. The bracelet will find its way to him. He will find it and give it to you.

On the next chapter: Will Kio give in and like Misa? Or will he fall in love with a mysterious new student??
