It was ten in the morning Emily had awakened. She slowly made sure not to wake up Chris, because he was still asleep. She decided to make breakfast for the both of them before she had to go to class and have Rob take care of Chris for a while. Emily would know he would. It was now eleven and she figured Chris would be awake by now. In fact she did hear him yawn and calling for her.

"Emily." Chris called for her.

"In the kitchen, do you need anything?" she asked.

"You." he said sweetly. Emily chuckled. While that she finished making breakfast and went to sit down next to him.

"Who is it?" Emily asked him while kissing his neck. "It's Rob." Chris answered her shocking.

"How did he know I came back from the hospital?" he asked her.

"I don't know, I didn't say anything to him, yet. I think he went to visit you and maybe the doctors told him you left?" she tried to answer his question.

"Oh, could be." He said. The phone kept on ringing, Ring…Ring…Ring. Chris finally picked up the last ring. Emily left to get breakfast for Chris and herself and bring it in the living room where they spent the night. And for Emily to leave Chris alone to talk to Rob.

"What did he want?" Emily asked as she put the food on the table next to Chris. She sat down next to him, waiting for his answer.

"He wants to come over." He said to her calmly.

"Did you invite him over?" she asked him. Even though things had been going on and Rob confessed his feelings. He still doesn't want to lose his best friend. And he was thankful that Chris was awake and he wanted to see him.

"Yeah, I did." he said to her. She was a bit surprised because she dropped her fork when he said that.

"You did? I thought you didn't want him in your life?" she asked him.

"I know I didn't, but I was just shocked at the time. I didn't mean to be a bitch to him like that. He's been my best friend for so damn long. And I don't want to lose our friendship because of this. So I said he could come over. And when I mean come over. He's coming over now." Chris told her. Emily was going to say something but instead she nodded her head saying ok.

About half hour Emily and Chris finished eating breakfast. Emily went into the kitchen to clean up while Chris was just watching TV, waiting for Rob to come. Chris couldn't concentrate on the TV; he was some how having memories from what Rob had told him.

Memory flash back

"Alright, I'm just going to come out and say it." He nodded. "I'm in love with someone that I don't think loves me back."

Chris raised an eyebrow. "Really man? Who's the chick?"

Robbie rubbed his hands together again. "Well, here's the catcher... it's a dude, not a chick."

"What?"

Robbie glanced up at his friend. "I'm gay." He said, and the words rang in Chris' ears. "And I'm in love with you."

Chris couldn't believe the day Rob told him he was gay. Especially in front of Emily his girlfriend that he loves so much. Chris really didn't mean to snap at Rob like that. The door bell rang, Chris jumped to the sound of it. Emily looked up at him in surprise as they watched TV together. Emily got up and headed to the door. She knew who it was so she opened the door widely for Rob to enter. She greeted him and told him where Chris was. Emily didn't want to disturb their talk so she told them she had to go out and get something. She lied.

Rob slowly walked over to the couch and sat down next to Chris. "How you feeling?" Rob asked nervously not looking at him.

"I'm doing fine. Thanks." Chris answered him, smiling at him. Is he asking if everything is ok? Rob nodded his head.

"How did you know I came home awake?" Chris asked him nicely.

"Well, funny thing is that I wanted to come see you. Even though you didn't want me in your life. I just can't lose a best friend. So today I wanted to see if you awoken and I see you did. "Are you going to be fine, Rob?" Chris asked him.

"What do you mean?" Rob questioned him. Rob might know what he meant. But he wants to make sure.
