A Poem for You

Every night I would think of you,

Sleepless nights within the darkness;

You seem to be the light of my life,

My protector, my prince, my savior;

In everything you do you take my breathe away,

My heart beating faster and faster whenever you are near;

No exact words I could say or write to express the feeling,

Nor could I say or write to describe you;

Every time when I am sad, I just look up-

And see the black blanket above,

Knowing we are under the same moon and stars,

No matter how far;

That in some way there would be a promise-

A promise of you and me.
