Crippled twilight lines the edges of my room
Creeping along the walls, threading, twisting
In waking sound, and a light being kept
I can feel myself beginning to shake
And then the pendulum begins its round
The quiet storm of my heart begins to wake
And here, my sanctuary's unstoppable armor cracks
Eyes, eyes flowing with emotion
The emotion that could
The emotion that stares from a shaken castle
Out its windows…the light begins
Castle, so treasured, full of gem
Why do you feel such agony?
Why is the pain still spiraling?
It's because you're still searching.
It's because there's still something out there.
Until it's found, the lights will still dwell
The castle will still stand strong,
And the twilight will still protect me.
