Why do we always say these things,
That are bound to bring us down?
We know not why we do say them,
That brings most smiles to a frown.

Just to make a point,
Some words we say,
But lined with regret,
We will soon pay.

We say these some things,
To try to hurt each other,
But in the short life I've lived,
I've tried to love every brother.

I know it may seem dumb,
I'm young, what do I know?
But if you really take the time,
My words will start to glow.

Why do we always say these things,
That make us feel irate,
When what we really need,
Has been laid on our plate.
