Chapter One: Chestnut on a Stick

Somewhere in Cherise's Brain…

Welcome one and all to Cherise's Brain!

As you walk around in awe a sophisticated looking lady walks up to you.

"I will be your hostess, Seline! And my dear helper, Jackie, will explain everything!"

We see Jackie snoring her ass off in the chair behind the file cabinets.

"Jackie!"

Jackie falls off her chair surprised by the harsh voice.

"Huh? What?"

Jackie coughs as she looks at you.

"Jackie! Do the intro!"

Seline yells in anger.

"Oh yeah! Hehe, sorry."

Jackie digs around and pops back up with a folder in her hand.

"Got it!"

"Ahem.

Name of current occupant: Cherise Flordeluna

Age: 16

Occupation: Student

Appearance: She has shoulder-length brown hair with gold highlights. Her eyes are normally light grayish purple but when she gets nervous, they turn grey and when she gets angry, they turn a deep purple. She's only 5"5, which she thinks is a bit short for her age.

Description of Attitude: She's usually that nice girl in the corner reading a book and sometimes she's even the girl laughing the loudest with a large group of friends. She absolutely hates preps and whatever kind of stereotype there is. She believes that a person has a unique personality and should stick to it. Do not, I repeat, do not get her mad. She will get on you like a cheetah about to eat it's prey. "Bitch mode" isn't something you'd like to see either. Besides the negativities I've just explained to you, she's a very nice girl. She knows how to keep secrets and she's a bit clumsy. She will trip on a daisy occasionally, but as long as you're not in front of her, you are fine. She's not an A student, I'll tell you. She's a B student, just struggling to get by."

Looking behind Jackie, we see Seline sitting back and eating a donut. As we stare, she finally catches on and the donut goes flying.

"Very…very good job Jackie!"

Seline claps looking at some secretary mentally asking, 'What the hell's going on?!'

The secretary shakes her head and goes back to work.

"Well, let's tune into the life of Cherise!"

Seline says hurriedly as if we don't know anything.

Cherise's POV

"And so, substitute the variable a with 7 and then divide by 14 giving you the answer 2. Any questions?" I watched as the teacher mentally coaxed himself that the class is paying attention and is not chatting around.

"Cherise. Please come up to the board." I stood up and walked.

"Answer the following--"

"Cherise Flordeluna please come to the Principal's Office..."

'Yes! Savior!' I cheered in my head as he nodded at me and called some other poor sap.

I walked out and walked calmly to the Principal's Office ignoring the people making out and the bullies stuffing poor nerds in their lockers.

Just then, some jerk bumped into and knocked me into the ground.

"Hey watch it!" I yelled. Seriously, what the he... oh hey he's hot.

"Me? Watch where you're going!" the boy yelled at me angrily.

Excuse me? Oh no he did not!

"You're the one who bumped into me!" I yelled but he already left.

And I thought this guy was...hot.

"Stupid jerk." I muttered under my breath.

A few halls later, and a few water stops, I finally entered the principal's office.

Along with that jerk.

"What the hell are you doing here?" he growled at me.

"Me? I was called here you jerk!" I yelled.

"Right. You must've followed me." he snorted.

"Followed you? Why you little--"

"Oh! Miss Flordeluna! Right on time, I need you to..." I saw the principal looking at me and the jackass,"I see you've already met." the principal smirked,"Well you need to be his personal buddy for the year."

Hahaha. Personal... WHAT?!

"Haha, sir. I think you have the wrong person." I tried turning but I just ended up on a very hard yet warm chest.

I liked it.

"Watch it clumsy." I heard the JERK again.

"Oh my God!" I groaned pointing at him, "See? THAT is why I can't be his 'Personal Buddy'. He's a big show-offy JERK."

"And the Prince of England."

Say WHAT?!
