Puppeteer of the Universe

Written by Crowerd Robinson

"No strings attached," says the man on stage,

Whispering to the crowd –

"I'll take a bow and sing aloud,

But never turn a page;"

He pleases only criminals

His heart is immune to the daze

A young girl screams politely, lightly,

Her heart forever lost –

What can you pay when there is no cost?

(No more burning brightly);

She's six years old and all used up

A very lonely suicide

A puppet casts off a wicked frown

But a heart he still lacks –

The train of death follows the tracks

Straight to his hometown;

It's dead and charred but still remains

Within your spirit forever
