"No strings attached," says the man on stage,

Whispering to the crowd –

"I'll take a bow and sing aloud,

But never turn a page;"


He pleases only criminals

His heart is immune to the daze


A young girl screams politely, lightly,

Her heart forever lost –

What can you pay when there is no cost?

(No more burning brightly);


She's six years old and all used up

A very lonely suicide


A puppet casts off a wicked frown

But a heart he still lacks –

The train of death follows the tracks

Straight to his hometown;


It's dead and charred but still remains

Within your spirit forever
