TBL: I've been registered on FP for a while now and have yet to publish any works so I said to myself, "Self, you gotta put something on and why not the poem you did for English." So here it is, the poem I did for English about the Salem Witch Trials, after many days of being lazy. I hope y'all like it.

Society of the Lost

The night a black abyss
Griping fear a cataclys'
Flaming torches the only light
Take my hand I'll hear your plight

Looking for the evil one
Can't go back the deed is done
Hanging warlocks hanging witches
All you people find your niches
In this society of the lost

Escaping from this we run
Away from madness and gun
Trial by water trial by fire
Perfection is their desire

Looking for the evil one
Can't go back the deed is done
Hanging warlocks hanging witches
All you people find your niches
In this society of the lost

"Witch!" they cry off goes the town
They don't know I watch with frown
Nineteen people killed by rope
Some have given up their hope

Looking for the evil one
Can't go back the deed is done
Hanging warlocks hanging witches
All you people find your niches
In this society of the lost

I'll hear your plight "witch!" I shout
Making sure to catch each one without a doubt
In your tunnel the soothing light of day
Is just a freight train comin' your way

In this society of the lost

TBL: I was thinking on submitting this to a band for a song although I'm not quite sure about that. Please send me your comments, whether they be good or not. :)
