invisible

the lines of pollen are skid marks
passing through the train tracks
the graffiti jumping off the wall
(in)visible: blurry, barely moving
through the streaked windows

the doors are sealed up & the lights
are suffocating me; electricity
surging through technology
& the gravity of nature is
propelled by global warming;

urban development that is
threatening to take over the
flower's beauty – the center of nature
as its nectar is sucked dry
by the concrete walls

stealing nature with the wind
draining the brightness of the sun,
sucking the shade of the trees:
the oxygen that we breathe
& we're barely breathing
