Just Another Face
With one glance you can categorize
But what do you see in that girl's eyes
She is pretty but she doesn't say that much
So you picture where she sits at lunch
That's weird you can't recall
She must sit with a large bunch
The rest of the period you watch
Just for curiosities sake
She is smart so she must have friends you decide
But when you turn away you miss your mistake
Without a word she carries on
Till lunch when without a trace
To the library all alone
So no one sees the tears she tries to erase
In minutes your thoughts of her disappear
You are just one of many
Who have no idea
What you could mean to somebody
Or what you choose not to mean
To that girl you past
Who went home that night
To make her life pass
