But it wasn't, as he quickly realized after he woke up from his last dream. All was far from well, he had her back, that was easy, she came over to apologize and to make up. He didn't know what to do, he slowly opened his eyes and saw that she was laying over him, he couldn't feel the pain anymore, he was full of guilt: he won her unfairly, he cheated, it was time. "Sam, Sam wake up, I need to talk to you, it's important." He said in a quite voice. She lifted her head from his chest, looked at him and smiled.

"What is it?"

"It's about me getting jumped, I didn't get jumped"

"But, you said…"

"I know what I said but just listen for a sec, I didn't get jumped," He repeated. Yes, this is the right thing to do. "Connor Murphy cornered me and beat the shit out of me." She looked shocked, she obviously didn't understand. For the next ten minutes he told her everything, and really everything this time. Explained himself and she didn't interrupt once. About his knife and cornering Connor even pointing the gun in Connor's face, not to mention the emphasis of how quick Connor was to dump her.

She looked completely shocked, stunned, and speechless. After a few minutes she replied. "Oh, um… well that does explain why he just dumped me out of nowhere, you, you aimed a gun at him? Where did you get a gun? It's just, you know that really hurt me, you really hurt me," she told him, and he understood, but didn't know how to respond.

"Honestly, I'm out of excuses and lies, all I can say is... I'm sorry, and if you take me back… I will never pull anything like that again. But there is one thing I have to say in my defense, that was not a real gun. Before I saw Connor that day I went over to Mike's house and asked him to borrow his airsoft P99 pistol BB gun. Even if I did pull the trigger all that would have shot is a little plastic ball that couldn't even pierce skin. It was a stupid move but not dangerous, I never, ever, would try to harm anyone like that. I would never pull a real gun on someone. The only way I can think to explain it is, is that love did it, it's true you know, love really can drive you crazy." He told the truth, he meant what he said, and maybe she understood.

"I'm going to go, but you can expect a call tonight. I'll see you later." And with that, she left, he didn't know where she went or what she did, all he did was wait. All day he waited for his phone to ring.

He was lying on his back, staring at the ceiling; she said she would call, she's going to call, I know it, she'll call. After repeating that in every way he could his phone rang. "Hello?"

"Hey it's me, how are you feeling?" Sam asked over the other end.

"Physically, I'm okay, Emotionally? That depends on what you say." He replied.
