Weighing
The Balance
Messengers
took months
to tell them he's dead;
No longer.
Outside
enjoyed infinite
skipping, playing;
No longer.
The plague
killed millions
zillions massacred;
No longer.
Cloth-making
took thousands
who had jobs, got paid;
No longer.
Is it worth is?
They ask.
Don't ask me-
I use those hospitals.
Ask him-
he has no job,
mo money,
he can't.
