Falling

Author's Note: My first poem ever written. It's the inspiration for every poem I write.

The darkest way to heaven,
The brightest route to hell,
We walked the steep and rocky road,
And hand in hand we fell.

I'd walk the worldwide over,
I'd swim the roughest seas,
Just to see your face; your beautiful smile,
It makes me feel weak at the knees.

Without you I'm lost in a misty fog,
My north exists no more,
Stop making everything look like,
It's such a boring chore.

Please can you catch me,
Whenever I start to fall,
You hurt me when you walk on by,
Straight down the crowded hall.

My heaven's turned to hell,
The world keeps crumbling down,
When I tried to walk away from you,
I realised that I was bound.
