Life-Cycle of an Ocean

The earth is tearing
The taste of salt
Filling its wounds
I am fearing
The widening fault
It's too soon

But we never learn
We just continue
To rip apart until the burn
Within the wound
Makes us start
Again, and again

The constant death
The life of the ocean
Tearing the skin
Starting, stopping breath
Again, and again

Born from a single ember
They're all the same
From their eyes
The same stone, I remember
Why ask names?
Anyway, they lie
Again, and again

The constant death
The life of the ocean
Tearing the skin
Starting, stopping breath
Again, and again

I hate continental rifts. Look what they did to me!?
