the wind was cold
my eyes colder
dreaming with
eyes wide open
subconsciously conscious
while screams cut through
the oppressive frigid atmosphere
tainted bruised indigo blemishes through
the vengeful crimson
clouds hovering
around my head
lost in horrific dreams
worse than reality
trapped in an unbreakable
prison my eyes burn
so sick and oh so empty
inside
stuck drifting alone
eroding away with the
bleeding ocean waves
tugging at my ankles,
beckoning me home
nobody needs me anymore
not like you did
falling away from
these empty memories
falling away from
the night of our
inevitable demise
i dreamt as
you died.
