Thankfully I wasn't delt a detention but if I was I would have no trouble finding that bastard and castrating him.
Yeah, I know.
I'm cruel.
Okay so I make it painfully obvious that I don't like detention.
Well, I'm sure you wouldn't either.
Can you imagine sitting in a room with no windows, not being able to communicate with other humans, eat or write.
Just sitting there wasting away a precious hour of life.
The pain of it is truly…well painful.
Anyway, the day went by pretty normally then lunch came along and that's when things started to get a little shaky.
Why you may ask? I was asked questions on why I was late.
Okay.
Big deal you may say.
Well that's what I was thinking too but looking around at the shocked faces around me I realized that it really must be a big deal.
"You hit Dominic Damsin's car?" Melissa asked dumbfounded.
"Um…yeah…"
"Are you crazy? Why the fuck would you hit Dominic's car? What is wrong with you? Did you take your medication tod-"
"I don't take meds Mel-"
"Don't you cut me off!" she yelled and continued ranting about how crazy I was and how perfect he is and how I'm such a loser, and how he's such a god.
Needless to say I zoned out.
After awhile you get used to her insults because well…
Mel's a bitch.
In fact.
She's one of the most dramatic people I know.
You take the drama out of her and she's nothing. She has light brown hair and happens to be the only one of us that dresses preppy, not that it matters. Her eyes are a green and she's 5'1". Mel is what guys call "hot". She's the type of girl that other girls hate because of her attitude, and because she gets all of the guys.
"Would you please shut the fuck up." This came from Blake.
I adore Blake.
He doesn't like drama. In fact, he doesn't like Mel all for the sole fact that she's a drama whore.
He has brown hair that goes to his shoulders, and pretty blue eyes. If I had to guess his height I would say 5'7" or 5' 8". He almost always wears black. Black pants, black shirts, black jackets, all black, all fitting him nicely, and all doing nothing to hide his muscles.
He always has a sketchbook in front of him, and draws away. He never lets us see what he's drawing though, so I figured it must be something personal. I wish I could see though.
Blake is usually quite so when he says something you know he's annoyed or pissed. He sat at our lunch table for about three years now, and barely said a word.
Well now Mel's going off on him and I can't say that's surprising.
Blake being the awesome person he is starts ignoring her.
Anyways.
We try to get him to hang out with us outside of school but he just never shows up in the places we decide to meet. I figured he's always busy but I'm just not sure. It's hard to tell with him because he seems to keep everything hidden away like he has some big secret that he has to hide from us.
I pretty much stopped trying to understand him.
I realize now that Mel had stopped her rampage.
My other friends at the table Claire and Tommy started making small talk.
They're the type of people who can't stand silence.
I can't say I'm the same way.
I love silence more than anything.
It's just you and your thoughts there's nothing like it. I know a lot of people hate being alone with their thoughts, but I just love it. I guess that is why I seem to zone out so much.
Claire is senior.
Tommy is a junior.
They are going out with each other, and make an adorable couple.
Claire has short black hair that she styles messily. She usually dresses originally. Which means she wears things that most people would be caught dead in. She likes bright colors and sparkly things. She's tall about 5' 10". She hates how tall she is and wishes she was my height. I on the other hand wish I was more like her.
Her boyfriend Tommy also has short black hair. He basically just wears anything he likes. He's 6'3" so he matches her in height and in personality. They've been dating for two years now and I doubt they'll ever break up. I always thought they were made for each other.
I hear the lunch bell ring so I gather my things, tell my friends I'll see them later, and head towards my fourth block class which just happens to be the last class of the day.
It's also the class that I share with Hunter.
…and Dominic.
