Desire

When we were kids we'd have a game to play

Where I'd follow you around

Our Childhood was never found

Discarded in a heap back then...

When we grew

We knew we'd find another game

Which adults called shame

We knew nature could never tame

Never snatch away our flame

Tyrants there, who have their place

Are despots, lacking the sacred grace

In your eyes I see the irony

Everytime I see your face

How can we seek?

When we're still in the mire (still in the mire)

That cheated desire (cheated desire)

That brightens our, on that sunken pyre

With vials of love

Sent from above - (sent from above)

When we were adults the game was put away

From its magic we, tried to stray

But those tactics would never pay

Unless our love would try to fray...

How can we seek?

When we're still in the mire (still in the mire)

That cheated desire (cheated desire)

That brightens our, on that sunken pyre

With vials of love

Sent from above -

The vials are sure

To try to cure

Though the illness of love...

Shall endure...
