It was the Thirteenth birthday of Pan Voncede. Him and his family lived in a two story house, Somewhere in southern California. He had Two brothers and Two Sisters. In the house, He slept in the attic, for it was the only place he could be without sharing a room. His Sisters shared a room as did his brothers. He was quite happy to get the entire attic to himself. For some reason, Pan never fit in. He had a strange power. He could see and speak with spirits. But that we will go into later. He had lots of friends, but he never truly had a meaning, or a purpose. He was quite intelligent for his age, and he often surpassed his peers in academic knowledge.

Now let me tell you about what he looked like. He was about Four and a half feet tall, yes, short he was. He had spiked brown hair, which matched his light brown eyes. He wasn't very strong, but he was fast. He spent most of his days on the internet. He knew how to hack, crack and steal virtually. Those days were almost over…

As I said before, it was his thirteenth birthday, and he was entering the seventh grade. His school was large, yet squeezed with many students. They had a playground with a large field for soccer and such. He walked into the classroom, revealing several desks, with chairs attached. The walls were lucid green, and the carpet was a sky blue. He took a seat and placed his backpack on the ground beside him.

Sitting right in front of him was a girl. She looked a year older than he, and she had short and timid blonde hair. He couldn't see the facial features, but he was sure they were beautiful.

Someone tapped his shoulder. He looked to the right and saw a kid, he looked about his size, but seemed younger. He looked strong. Stronger than Pan, that's for sure. He began to speak. "Hey, you must be the new kid everyone was talking about." He shook my hand. "Hi, I'm Austin. Nice to meet you." Pan replied, "Pleasure to meet you, Austin. I'm Pan." They both returned to a straight gaze forward. Class was about to begin.

"Hello, I am Mr. Gazopolis. Call me Mr. G." The teacher spoke. He was tall and tough, but he seemed very energetic and fun, like a small child in a toy store. "I would like to introduce our newest student, Pan-an-an-an-an." He echoed his name. Pan could tell he would be a very enjoyable Teacher.

Later that day, Pan had already been acquainted with, as they call themselves, 'The Gang'. The consisted of three People. Austin, the Guy he met earlier, Colin, a very comedic and interesting person, and their leader, Swarts, referring to his last name. Nobody called him buy his first name. Swarts was a tall, strong, slender, intelligent person. He seemed like a perfect student, but he had a HUGE trouble streak.

During lunch, he was invited to a meeting with the gang. He has had similar experiences before, except that they ended with a beating. He went to the lunch are of the gang. Under a large tree in the field.

"Okay, first order of business," Swarts began to speak. "We have someone who is to be initiated into our group." Pan listened very carefully. "Pan, you must do this to gain access to our group. Tell us about yourself, so we can tell if you have the personality to match our group." Pan took a breath and began to speak. "I am Comedic, Intelligent, Fast, and I have vast knowledge of the internet." The meeting ended with the words, "We will get back to you."

Pan went home that day with an unfamiliar face. Good thing nobody else could see it. On the entire way home, a strange female spirit followed him. She looked the age of seven, and did nothing but try to scare him. She ultimately failed. Pan had gotten used to seeing spirits. He could not get easily scared. This day, and got so frustrated with the spirit he actually breathed fire! It was more of a spirit flame, though, because it could not effect anything physically. This is the first level of being a shaman.

Pan was stunned with the feet he had accomplished. Breathing fire! It may not of been real, but it burned his mouth and he sure did scare that spirit away! But, first thing first. He had to figure out what that was. He ran in to the house and up into his attic. He began to meditate, and he entered the spirit realm.

The spirit realm was a place in-between the physical realm and the gates of eternity, which is where the creator sat on his throne. You might think that everything in the spiritual realm is holy, but it's not. Here is what Pan learned from the Scrolls of infinity:

In the physical realm, there is good and bad. Yin and Yang. They balance each other out. In the spiritual realm, there must also be good and bad. Without it, the physical realm would not have good and bad and it would fall apart. If there was only good, everything would be perfect, and people would not be trying their hardest, and it would be impossible for people to have real fun. While in a world that's all bad, the bad things would be normal, so the fun would go away, and nobody would agree with anything, and that would create a completely destructive world.
