TITLE: Though Desperate and Determined We Will Never be Picasso
...the fact of the matter is
in our personal canvases
we have painted imperfections
in hopes that our appeal
becomes heightened.
For in a world of
living art
my bones
are beautiful
and your shimmer glistens.
We shall all melt in the sun
but die satisfied
for we lived like Barbies and Kens.
Repaint till the need is met
till acceptance is reached
but coated in layers
of lies and glitter
we shall suffocate with
the skin we hide in.
And when used becomes
beautiful and
experience becomes praised
we will then vomit
at our lack of innocence
purge our impurities
and fill the void
with sin and guilt.
Make me wanted...
