On a dreamscape not so far away,

On a dreamscape not so far away,

I had back all my friends, who are gone for good,

I was happy, much happier than I am today.

I smiled for everything was perfect, for if I could…

Give perfect an exact name I would,

So easily mention this dream that I had…

Where I was happy and nothing was bad.

But my dream did flee with very little delay.

Just as anything so perfect would,

For beauty is happier when remembered in a somber way.

And I alone on a new dreamscape stood,

And though the reason the beauty had fled I understood,

I was still so very, very sad,

To lose that perfect dream I had.
