Cotton Candy

...

The purple clouds etched above
Lavender clouds etched above
Crying marmalade rain
Trees sway their lemon leaves
Sleeping in those willow branches
Infants do they snore

...

This world is my haven
Its colors are the shore
To a place beyond the hurt
And anger that do plague
That one over there
The one that's sky is blue
And whose clouds turn grey and white

..

The man in the clouds swirl our skies
Creating the sunset
Our worlds share this aspect
The beauty of the sky

..

The ocean's waters are bright blue
And mesh with the sea of yours
He turns and turns the cotton candy
Adding flavor in
Strawberry for the falling sun
A mixture for a crying heaven
Orange for the afterglow
Stretching its shadow through the wind
Coloring it fluffy
With pink and gold

..

The light is universal
The dark is shared within

..

The birds with song
And the bees will hum
And the flowers will bloom

..

For in mine and yours
Our worlds are ruled
By nature's timer of inevitability
Death's mistress will come knocking
Love will enter without invitation
Sadness will squeeze
Hope will brush away tears
A circle in full tilt
A world in orbit constantly
