The Poet's Wine

Black velvet skies settle you in peace
The waves roll and break to your soul's release
Wrapped in a blanket of stars, this place is fine
Softly swaying, the Poet's Wine

Dream and live
Take what you need, free what you give
Drink it deep for it's only now
The Poet sings and then takes a bow

When ship's bells begin to chime
You will step back into your own time
In the end, the dream's always mine
And yours is what's remembered of the Poet's Wine

And some where in a quite little space
The starlight shines of a distant place
Sitting alone, you will dream of the ocean
Of the winds caressing your heart, the stars full of emotion
Sitting alone you will dream of the sea
Of the winds caressing your heart, and remember me
