I found your love in a music box,
The song was sweet like apple green.
I came upon your face last night,
In what was certainly a dream.
A shiny light and something sweet,
Something swept me off my feet,
Regardless of the heartless fact,
That you and I would never meet.
A heavy heart is my reward,
For seeing you there on the floor.
I think out loud with nothing more,
Than intentions of sleeping on the shore.
And I would be anything for you,
To make you smile a song so sweet.
But these heart strings will fall on nothing,
But deaf ears, closed eyes, and nowhere feet.
