STEEPED

The mind crash's over darling

No need for your parting eyes and sunshades

Make yourself look like a million and one dollars

Even when no one's around

Treated myself

To a ruby red cylinder

That cradles the warm comfort of my tea

I'm over-steeped green ginger

Or a passion too purple to be delicious

Time to dilute honey bunch

Way way down in the corner of Manhattan

To buy myself a pretty dress

Stop munching on the unnecessary

And begin taking snapshots of a musical life
