Robotic Girl

She looks at you with darkened ember eyes

As she cuts deeper into velvet skin

Her head is filled with what they told her

The thoughts that she'll never win

She's sick in her head and heart of all things

And with that she has no more splendor

She looks upon the razor blade, bloodied

And with that walks in the defender

She asks him why he is here with that look of robotic innocence on her face

He grabs her up and holds her close and says

"I want to be the one to give you life through your velvet laces"

The warmth of his body makes her quiver

As she hears something pound within his chest

His embrace, his touch too overwhelming

She needs her darkness so she can rest

He sees she is frightened, poor thing that she is

But that will not detour him from his goal

To love…

To love this girl for who she is, even if she is as dark as the crow

He leans into the fragile porcelain girl with the greatest intentions

The kiss intertwining these two lost souls.

Robotic, bloodied girl is no longer

No alive, with blush upon her white snow cheeks

He stays with her as promised

And no longer will she taste defeat

Once was open wounds are now scars

And once was so dark, has now turned to light

Ember eyes now turn to ocean blue

And now she has someone for whom she can fight

"Till death do they part"

Is the promise they both share

But little do they know

The story doesn't end there….
