Sea Glass

I'll catch you in this wreath of sea foam
So you don't drown without me
You open your mouth to tell me your secrets
But salty water chokes you as you breathe

You're the sea glass, broken and beautiful
Buried in sand and shattered pearls
I collect your shards and admire you
But my feelings go unspoken

When the light shines through you
Refracting like a kaleidescope
I'm blinded by your brilliance
Unable to tell you in words how you amaze me
