The One Who Wears The Crown

by, Cassandra

Pretty pretty, baby darlin',
all wrapped up in almost-lies
and nearly bitter words.

You could never pull it
off quite like I do.

In this castle, I'm the queen of twisting meanings.
I'm the reigning monarch of sarcasm laced words.
It drips from my voice, so bittersweet you want to choke.

Don't try to steal my crown,
because stains and double-meanings
look much better on me then they
ever would on you.

why would you want to be like me anyway?
