Chapter 6

Church Bells

Complete silence.

And then-

Bong

The church bells ring a deep baritone. The very air vibrates long after the note is gone.

Bong

The casket is here.

Bong

They walk down the isle.

Bong

All the guests look to be dressed for a parade or a party. Their mood tells a different story. The very air is filled with a humming sadness.

Bong

Tears on my cheeks. When did they start to flow?

Bong

One last look, one last glimpse of him.

Bong

They tread with the slow certainty of death.

Bong

Awaiting for justice, my father treads the low road.

Bong

Death's dance is all that he walks now.

Bong

Towards the fierce judges of Hades he goes.

Bong

He is lowered.

Bong

Silence once more.

And then-

Bong

He is gone.

Sorry for the short chapter. I needed to create a mood and if I kept going I felt it may ruin it. Or maybe it won't. Anyway, I feel as though this chapter is more of a... a poem then a chapter which was kind of my intention in a way... I guess... Now I am just going on and on so I guess I should stop now.... eh-heh

PLEASE, feel free to give me constructive criticism and pointers... tips, if you may.

: )

(Also if you didn't get who 'they' were, 'they' were the carriers of the casket.)
