How can you tell if someone loves you

How can you tell if the sky is blue

How can you tell when the right time is

How can you tell who

When someone calls

Six times every night

Just to see you're ok

Just to see you're alright

When you are crying

And you can't stop

They offer their shoulder

and ask you why

They buy special things

Just to make you smile

They tell you they love you

Just for who you are

You have some laughs

And stupid times too

But we always mean it

When we say I love you

We have our own language

We have our own codes

We say little phrases

That never get old

The way our conversation ends

People ask why

It's part of our code of love
