She sits and watches him

Laughing and chatting with his girlfriend

She loves him

But knows he can never be hers

She's not bitter about it though

Why should she be?

It's not his fault

That he doesn't realise she loves him

They don't even talk very much

But still

She loves him

She doesn't even know

Why she loves him

Or what made her start loving him

Only that she does love him

When they do talk

He often begs her for sweets

And makes her laugh

No, she's not bitter

About the fact that he's taken

She has friends

Besides

She doesn't think she's ready for a boyfriend yet

But…sometimes

When he's not looking

She'll watch him for a while

Just watch him
