"Eve, hey Eve

"Eve, hey Eve!" I looked around for any person calling my name; I smiled seeing it was my best friend Helen. She was a short bubbly blonde with stunning blue eyes and a contagious personality. "hey Hel, what's up sugar lump?" She wrapped her arms around me, "I heard about what happened. I knew that bastard was up to no good." I smiled fondly down at her, I may be a tough badass girl on the outside, but she got to me. I shrugged, "meh, nothing I couldn't handle, caught him slapped him around a bit, and I'm as good as new." I spun around and moronically flipped my crazy curly red hair, my hazel eyes gleaming with mischief.

She giggled and hooked arms with me; I smiled slightly knowing how funny it must look for a 5'2' blonde wearing low cut jeans and a baby blue tee to be hooking arms with a 5'6' red head wearing long blue jeans and a Scary Kids Scaring Kids black shirt. Shaking my head I ignored her mindless humming and gazed around. Looking fleetingly down a hallway I noticed a guy pinning someone against a wall. Screeching to a halt I glanced at Helen, "hey hel I catch up in a minute, I umm…forgot something in my locker." She smiled cheerfully up at me, "mkay I'll tell Mrs. Delano." I nodded and waited until she was around the corner and stormed down the hallway. I stopped short of him; I studied before I made my move.

The one doing the pinning was tall, taller than me, about at 6'3'. His hair was shaggy black falling into his eyes. His muscles flexed, I was impressed, which was hard to do. He wore baggy blue jeans, a tight black muscle tee, and combat boots. The one being pinned was a pasty kid, with a pocket protector. I snorted what the hell could this kid have done. Sighing I grabbed the black haired guys arm, "dude let him go." He didn't budge, the other kid was chocking. I tugged at his arm, "Let him go now." I grabbed his face and turned it to me.

I gasped at what I saw, his eyes, they, they were pitch black. Letting the other kid drop he grabbed me by the shoulders and shoved me painfully into the wall. I winced visibly, I gazed fearfully into his eyes, it felt like I was being pulled into an endless pool of darkness. I grabbed his wrists, "please," I whispered, "what are you doing?" His jaw clenched I saw the muscles contract. I swallowed, racking my brain for his name. I stared into his onyx eyes and lost all grip on reality. Slipping deeper into the pools of black I understood, his hunger, his appetite for pain. His grip tightened, I groaned in pain.

His name floated in front of my face, dancing in recognition. "Gabriel" my voice came out low and whispered his name rolled off my tongue. His grip loosened and his eyes faded into a gleaming silver, sweat dripped down his face. My eyes flitted over his features. Strong jaw, aristocratic nose, silver eyes, kissable lips. He sported a bar in his eyebrow as well as piercings in his ears; his lips were adorned with a snake bite, completely disgusting on most people but quite fitting for him. As his eyes focused on me his face became stoic, mouth thinning. Growling quite feral he walked away, leaving me gazing after him in shock.
