More new stuff!
I'm sure you'll love it. I just have to write it.
Little hands grabbed me and began to shake me. I swatted at the half-heartedly but they were persistent. "Lindsay! Time to get up!"
I reluctantly sat up and rubbed the sleep out of my eyes. As they began to focus, my eyes landed on my little sisters all standing in a row at the foot of my bed looking at me innocently. "You know, it's inhuman how you three always manage to wake up at exactly 6am every morning." They beamed identical smiles at me and I scowled. "Oh fine! I'll get up. Go take showers you little freaks!" They laughed and left. I shook my head. "Three of them and there isn't one normal one? How is that?"
I sighed and got out of bed to get ready. After I showered I went into my closet to find an outfit for the day. I finally settled on some dark jeans, a hot pink tank top, and a black hoodie. I threw on a pink belt and my black and pink converses to complete the look.
I went to the mirror and put on some mascara and lip gloss, keeping my usual simplicity and leaving my long, dark hair out and wavy. I grabbed my wallet and keys and went downstairs to see if my sisters were done. Antwanique and Angelique were at the table eating but Annalisse was nowhere to be seen. "Where's Anna?"
Angie looked at me like I was a retard. "It's only 6:45, she's nowhere near ready yet."
I sighed. "Good point. She's got five minutes before she has to catch a ride with Tracy."
Her eyes widened in amusement. "Hey Anna! Linds says she's gonna make you ride with Tracy if you make us late!"
Tracy's our neighbor and she and the triplets have had a rivalry going since kindergarten. Only problem was Tracy's parents loved us and we loved them. If ever any of us needed a ride, it'd be them to take us. The thought of being trapped in the car with them was like being burned at the stake for them.
Sure enough, less than three minutes later Anna came flying down the stairs and sat at the table, trying to catch her breath. I tried no to laugh at her slightly windblown look but it was difficult. The three of them looked so similar I'd swear they were clones if it wasn't for their eyes.
You see, though all three 12-year olds were 5'6" and caramel colored with waist-long dark hair, they all had different eyes. Anty's are green, Angie's are brown, and Anna's are a light grey. That's the only way to tell the three apart.
"Alright, let's go!" I went out to my car and they followed. After dropping them off at their middle school, I drove down to the high school and parked. When I started walking up the stairs, I saw a group of big-chested, short-skirted, small-brained girls standing in front of my locker. I stopped short, turned around, and walked the other direction.
I didn't make it far when somebody grabbed my arm. "Oh no you don't." I turned to face my best friend Lara. I pouted but she held firm. "Nope, go to your locker."
I groaned. "But last time I went near them I ended up with a suspension for fighting! I can't go near them without hitting someone and you know it."
"Yes, but they deserve it and you know it. Just go and they'll eventually leave."
"How about if I pay you to go to my locker for me?"
She shook her head. "No, now go."
I started to walk towards my locker and she smiled. I glared back. I made my way through the group of girls and began spinning the dial. The leader smiled evilly and tried to talk to me. "Good morning Lindsay, have you reconsidered our offer yet?" I ignored her and continued getting my books. "Lindsay, I'm talking to you. I'm sure my father would love to hear about your rude behavior to his little girl." I still ignored her and began to walk away. She grabbed my arm and glared at me. "Listen you little bitch! Either you join us with a smile or we make your high school a living hell."
I finally spoke. "What do you think it is when I see you every day?" I wrenched my arm out of her grasp and kept walking.
"Why you little…!" She reached out to grab my hair but I turned around and gave her an icy glare that made her stop short.
"Don't you even try it. You know I'd kick your little cheerleader ass in a heartbeat even if your dad was the goddamn president! Now back off if you want your pretty little plastic nose to stay in one piece!" She'd backed against the lockers and was looking at me with a terrified expression. I turned to face her posse, who'd surrounded me. "Back-off." I said it loud and clear and they stepped aside quickly.
Lara gave me a smug look at the fact that I hadn't hit anyone but it was too soon. Before I got to her, one of the jocks watching the exchange decided to be stupid and grab my ass. I turned around and looked at him. The others backed away from the doomed man in a heartbeat and he also backed into a locker. He appeared to be new so I cut him some slack. I got in his face and whispered, "Understand this, I don't hold punches. You ever do that again and we'll have serious issues. Got it?"
He nodded and I turned to walk away. He was almost safe when I felt him grab my ass again. I turned around and slammed my fist into his face, effectively slamming his head into the locker he was leaning against. I went back to Lara and smirked. "You never believe me. They're a fucking curse!"
She laughed and nodded. "I guess you're right. But I know the cure."
I raised an eyebrow. "Oh? And what's that?"
She smirked. "He's right behind you."
I turned to see my boyfriend Damon smiling down on me. I smiled back and said, "You're right, I do feel better."
He laughed. "I should hope so. Now you wanna tell me why you just punched my cousin?"
My eyes widened and I blushed. "That's your cousin?" He nodded. "Oopsie!"
He laughed and waved the boy over. "Linds, this is David. David, this is my girlfriend Lindsay." The boy waved but didn't make a move to get near me. "So, do you wanna apologize?"
I scoffed. "Have you not been dating me for the past three years? Hell no."
He laughed and turned to David. "What did you do?" He was about to answer but I made a sign for him not to behind Damon's back. I mean, I'm not too fond of the kid, but I don't wanna get him killed. He saw my motion and just shrugged. Damon turned back to me. "That bad, huh?" I smirked and shrugged like he had.
Before he could say anything else, the warning bell rang and I smiled. I kissed him on the cheek, grabbed Lara's hand, and dashed off to class. I knew he'd question me again at lunch but that wasn't for a while and I had time to make something up. Little did I know that by tomorrow, this would all be the smallest of my worries.
Yay! New Story! I knew I'd be able to actually write this eventually!
Please tell me what you think.
