Thank you for your interest in "King of Hearts, Queen of Spades."

Alice in Wonderland has always been one of my favorite tales. I wanted to mix that with the movie "Labyrinth" to create something insane, dark, and magical. I really do dislike the conventional, clean-cute, squeaky perfect heroes. I enjoy the twisted, broken souls a lot more. I was often admonished with, "Curiosity killed the cat," and I suppose I wanted to find out how gruesome that saying could be.

Perhaps Alondra will indeed fall down the rabbit hole and find Wonderland, perhaps she will stay there forever... or die trying to get out. I never did finish this one, so I'm not sure what would have happened. But I'll surely try to see... someday.
