Julia gazed out her window with her big light blue pupil-less eyes, twirling one of her black ringlet bangs in her finger. She was bored.

'Why do I have to be locked up in such a tower' she wondered with annoyance. She jumped as her mother burst into her room.

"What do you want mother?" she asked with all the politeness she could scrounger up. She loved her mother but she was the reason she was locked in this grotesque room.

"Your punishment has been lifted, help me pack" Her mother said sternly as she dragged Julia to her room.

"Alright how long are you going for" Julia asked annoyed that her mother would leave her with her agro father for a period of time.

"Forever" her mother said bluntly as she pulled 2 suitcases out from under the bed.

"What why?" Julia exclaimed feeling hot tears start to stroll down her cheeks. Julia's mother had finished packing and walked over to her daughter. She ruffled the ringlets in her hair.

"I'm in great danger, I'm sorry I'd do anything to stay but sadly I've run out of options. I have assured that there will be someone to always look after you" her mother now had tears running down her cheeks too. Julia nodded knowing that once her mother's mind was made up she could never change it. She followed her mother to the front door where outside a black and navy blue carriage was waiting. Her mother kissed her forehead.

"Be strong" her mother whispered as she left in a black and navy blue cloak.

Julia woke up in a pool of sweat.

'It was just a dream' she thought, 'no wait it happened 7 years ago' she pondered

this as she sat up and looked at her surroundings. She was sitting in a four-post navy blue bed with white sheets. The walls were painted navy blue and the doors and windows were painted white. There was a white desk. It faced the window and was covered in sheets and pencils. The carpet was white and lastly there was a big closet that was painted white. She sighed and got out of bed and went to the closet. She opened the strong doors and pulled out a small blue and white dress that was way to puffy for her liking. You see her father was the king of all Medador, because of his high power he thought he could force her to do or wear anything he wanted. She was sick of navy blue and white, it was the countries' flag colours, for once she would like to wear…purple or some other colour. She grabbed out her scissors and did her work on the dress, it now wasn't that hideous. She pulled out a nice cream music box with floral patterns from the back of her closet. She opened it up, took out a star pendant necklace and put it on. She looked in the mirror and smiled, it was the first time that she had worn this necklace. Her mother had given it to her and said that she could only wear it once she turned 15. As Julia got lost in thought one of her fathers servants entered her room.

'Hasn't anyone heard of knocking' Julia thought to herself.

"Your father requires your presence immediately Princess" The servant said meekly.

"Very well tell him I will be there in a minute" Julia said as she quickly shoved the box in the back of the closet.

Julia walked into the main room. Her father smiled at her in an evil manner, he always seemed to have an evil feeling that surrounded him.

"Ah Julia you look more and more like your mother every day. Happy birthday dear" he said with a grimace that Julia had never seen before.

"Thankyou father" she said slightly sarcastically, her fathers gaze turned to the necklace and his face lit up with rage and fear.

"Why are you wearing that incipit necklace?" he shouted.

"Mother gave it to me before she left" Julia cowered.

"I knew it! I knew you had that traitor's blood in you! How could I have been such a fool to not see it coming!" His face was turning red.

"What are you talking about father, mother wasn't a traitor" Julia was so confused.

"So your fighting with the other side!" Her father had officially gone crazy, he leapt at her. Julia was so frightened, she closed her eyes and flung her arm out to defend herself. All of a sudden all of the noise stopped. She opened one of her eyes to see her father lying on the ground with a scorch mark to his chest, all of the servants ran to him immediately, Julia's hand felt hot. She looked down to see the mark of a star burnt into her hand.

"D-d-did I do this?" Julia stammered.

"Yes you did" A voice came from behind her. She turned to see man with brown short hair and stubbly chin, he had brown pupil-less eyes and was wearing a black and navy blue cloak.

"We better get you out of here" he said calmly as he grabbed her hand and lead her into the hallway.

"Who are you?" Julia asked as she was being tugged along.

"Demetrius at your service" He said while he kept walking briskly.

"Nice to meet you Demetrius" Julia said politely.

"You truly are your mothers daughter" he chuckled to himself.

"So you know my mother" Julia asked hopefully.

"I'll explain more later" he said as he opened the back door for her, they entered the forest.

Julia looked up at the sky.

"It's so beautiful, this is the first time I've ever been out of the castle" she was amazed.

"Well this is about as good as the journey is going to get" Demetrius ruffled his hand through her hair playfully.
