"Truth or dare?" Candice waited for his answer. Shawn sighed deeply. "Do you even have to ask? You know I can't pass a dare."

She grinned evilly. "If that's the case…then I dare you to…use a cheesy pick up line on Chelsie."

He rolled his eyes. "What did I get myself into?"

He spotted her near a few of her friends. She saw him and made a face. "The voices in my head told me to come over and talk to you."

She smirks in amusement. "You mean that voice over there?"

She points in a general direction toward Candice. He blushed and walked away. Candice laughed at him, slapping her hand at the table repeatedly.

"Okay. Chelsie has a 'Free Hugs' sign on her. I dare you to hug her from behind and don't let her go until she hugs you back or you have to go."

He gritted his teeth. "Bite me."

She smiled and said, "You still owe me…two dares."

He glared at her as the bell rang for class. He saw her walking behind her friends. He wrapped his arms around her waist. She turned her head to look up at him. "Well, this is awkward. Are you going to let me go?"

He grinned and shook his head. She rolled her eyes at him. "Let's compromise. I'll let you hook arms with me and I'll hug you if you walk me to class."

"Sounds good to me."

"Shawn! It seems like you're getting the drift. I'm going to use the last dare. I dare you—"

He buried his head into his arms. "I'm not going to do it. She has a boyfriend."

She gave him a sympathetic look. "Come on. Is she making you jealous?"

He doesn't have a reaction. She sighed. "I think she's onto us. I dare you to ask her out. Don't tell me you're not going to do it because—"

He looked at her intently. "You're still telling me to do it? Are you trying to—"

"And kiss her in the halls."

"You're out of your mind."

Candice walked away and called out to him. "Go get her, boy."

Chelsie approached him at a wall. "What's up with you lately?"

He shrugged. "Will you go out with me?"

"You're insane. Ryan's going to beat you senseless."

He smirked at her. "Ryan and I are cool. He's not like that."

She gave a sarcastic laugh. "I know him better than you do. If you want to go out with me so much, explain to him."

Shawn grinned. "Fine by me. Friday at 5? I'm definitely getting my ass kicked then."

She nodded and begins walking away. "You bet on it."

He pulled her back and kissed her cheek lightly. She blushed and continued on her way. He neared Ryan. "Ryan…hear me out first. I'm going out with Chelsie. Is that alright with you?"

Ryan glanced at him. "Don't break her heart or me and some of her friends are going to sic you"

Shawn gave a puzzled look. "Wait…Aren't you going out with her?"

Ryan had a big smile on. "Hah! If we were going out, I'd have pummeled you by now and our relationship wouldn't last very long."

"Then this whole thing was a set up?"

Ryan started laughing harder. "Candice was in on it too."

Shawn covered his face with his hands as he heard Candice yell, "Remember to use protection!"
