Angels

Wings of ivory white spread,

Words of redemption foresaid,

Halos glow so bright,

Giving the dark lands light,

Robes of celestial silk,

Soft as love, pale as milk,

Voices like bells ring

As the flying angels sing,

So beautiful they shouldn't exist,

Elusive as the morning mist,

Golden hair shines with grace,

Strands twirl and enlace,

Dancing lightly on the clouds,

As the golden sunlight shrouds,

Through all the beauty I cry,

Because you don't see angels unless you die.
