I am a foot solider for Aries
Sloshing through the muddy Rubicon
In this endless war, with no turning back
Wondering what will come with each dawn

I speak no lies, unless you count
Those that have been my duty to tell
And from my lips fluttered not gentle murmurs
But harsh mines that inexplicably fell

I did not realize I was my own Achilles' heel
For my own side, I've betrayed with a kiss
And if we do not win this final battle
I fear that I'll be disgracefully dismissed

I am a foot solider for Aries
In a war I did not want to start
In a war I can find no end to, day after day
In a war where the battlefield is my heart
