I can't fall asleep, it hurts too much

To know I'll never again feel his touch.

He called me last night and said we're through;

It hurts too much to know what to do.

He called when he never calls: 9 o'clock,

I should have known we'd run out of luck.

I called him back later, then he told me

That there were other people to see.

I know he cried, but I know it's an act,

I've seen what he does with her behind my back.

We'll never talk again, never call,

And he'll never know he lost it all.

He called me last night and told me we're through;

It hurts too much to know what to do.

And I can't fall asleep 'cause it hurts too bad

To keep on thinking of what we had.
