one sunny morning
i awoke to find
i was gone

no note, no clothes
no evidence that i'd ever been home

i checked all the places
i used to hang out
but i wasn't there

i've been searching for weeks
but so far no luck
i haven't found me

Note: written 1985, when I was 15. Since then I've gone missing numerous times. In fact I'm posting these really old poems because I'm trying to find me and I think maybe I might see them and figure out I'm looking, and come home again.
