AN: ok, so here's a one-shot I got an idea form, it uses all the names of my friends, and me, and actually takes some aspect from my real life. Rated T for underage drinking and language. Enjoy!
"Lizz Lindsay!!" shouted a voice over the music. I turned to see Scott walking my way, pushing through he crowd. By the way he was walking I could tell he'd already had more than a few beers." So I see you made it over the hill from the Valley, and to the vestal house to party. Gratz and good to see you."
"Hey Scott," I replied." Hey, so I see my cousin brought his friends down from collage, how ever did you talk him into that?" I asked, spying my cousin, Jamie, in the middle of the dancing at least four of his Cross country team mates around.
"Ahhhhh, well, I just told him there was beer and dancing on a Saturday, and he showed up. But the better question, is did you bring your friends. I've been dying to see Tori."
Yes, I did bring them, Laurens here with Andy, it's the only way she could go, and yes Tori"(5'5" blond with short hair, amazing personality, and cheap drunk)" is here, and she's already gotten herself a beer. So, go on, go see her."
"SWEET!!" Scott yelled, and walked away. I smiled watching him go, slightly swaying as he walked. Jamie caught my eye from the middle of the room and waved, and seeing as he made no move to come talk to me I waved back, then set my sights on getting myself a drink. No beer, I couldn't stand the taste of it, I only drank vodka, whiskey and run, occasionally a beer, only if we're playing beer pong (which tonight we weren't).
"Mt. dew and lemon Bacardi, just how you like it." A male voice said, coming up behind me, and placing the cup in my hand as his arms snaked around my waist.
"Hey Jaden," I said as I turned my head to see his face. His short, spiky hair slightly disheveled from his partying state, and his blue eyes clouded from his alcohol intake. " good to see you." I flashed a smile at him as I pulled out of his arms, and took a drink out of my red, plastic cup.
"Glad you made it." He said, an underlying tone in his voice as if to say, "let's hook-up tonight." With that he took a swig from beer bottle and set it down, empty, on the table. He grabbed my hand led me toward the dancing. "Let's dance!" he called over the rumbling bass. I didn't reject his offer, but instead took another drink from my cup, and followed him into the crowd. The dancing was close, and the temperature was at least 20 degrees hotter. But, despite, the fact my mini skirt, and halter top were probably ruined for good, it was a lot of fun.
I don't know how long we danced, but at one point I caught a glimpse of Harper and Conor having a great time dancing with a group of kids from ME. I saw Lauren and Andy enjoying themselves, and I caught a Glimpse of Scott and Tori, both wayyyyy drunk, Having the time of their life. Jaden and I had gotten pretty close on the dance floor, and we too, happy with the influence of alcohol. Finally, we made our way out of the crowd of dancers, and we were standing by and open window, when Jaden spoke. He had spoken while we were dancing, whispering stuff in my ear about how hot I was, and what a great dancer, but it didn't affect me, I knew his games.
"So," he said innocently, Hs blue eyes scanning my face for a reaction, his muscle toned arm reaching around my waist to pull me closer, and he brought his lips to my ear" what are my chances of a Personal get together with you upstairs?" Ahhh, he was smooth wasn't he.
I thought about it a moment, I mean, it's not like I hadn't done it before, that's how I get invited to these parties. We never usually do more then make-out, but, hey, might as well tease him a little.
"Another drink," I said coyly as I handed him my empty cup, and walked closer to the open window. I turned and smiled at him and watched as he made his way into the kitchen to make me another drink, this one probably much stronger then the last four.
The window I was standing at was near the front door, and over the loud music, I could hear someone knocking. "who knocks?" I thought, and I walked to the door, looking out the peep hole. Shit! I looked around for Scott, or his older brother. No sign.
"Hello Officer." I said calmly as I opened the door. I was lucky I was blessed with the ability to hold my liquor.
"Evening'." He replied, a solemn look on his face" what going on here?"
"Just a get together with some friends" I said calmly
"Ah, have you been drinking?" he asked, a questioning look in his eyes.
"Nope." I said flatly, lying of course.
"Where'd you get the alcohol?" he asked
"No one." I lied again "We're not drinking"
Just then, Jaden walked up to me, handing me my cup. He looked up at the door, and saw the officer. At the same time, Scott walked down the stairs; he too saw who was in the door.
"Hi Officer Lindsay!" Scott said cheerfully.
"Hi Scott." He replied
"Hey will you tell Officer Brooks that the dog is at the neighbors?"
"No problem, no you guys have fun, and for God's sake, clean up when your done!"
"No problem!" Scott replied
"Good night guys," he then turned to me" see you at home."
"Bye Dad." I called as he turned and walked back to his unmarked car, pulling down the drive way and past the mailbox. With the name Brooks, printed in fancy lettering.
"Hey!" Scott call to me from the dancing." The Nights still young!!"
So I grabbed Jaden's hand and pulled him back to the dance floor, where I stayed for the rest of the party till everyone crashed in tired, drunk piles for the rest of the night.
My first one-shot, I hoped you enjoyed, R&R please, reviews are awesome, might do a rewrite if I think of stuff to add. Hope you enjoyed!!
