It's been forever since I've last posted anything on my story. Despite that fact, something amazing happened:
People. Kept. Reading.
People read, reviewed, gave this story attention that I honestly didn't think it would get. I've gone to college, got a job, made friends, expanded my social life, got into arguments, almost ended some friendships (and ended others), lost dear friends forever, mourned, moved (to Arizona!), and despite my best efforts, I got older!
And this story still endured, all this time while I was off living life. In living life, however, I somehow lost my way as a writer. The words that used to come to me so easily really just...stopped. And I felt like a part of myself has fallen into a deep, deep sleep. It hurt, if I'm to be honest. I didn't feel like a complete person anymore, but I never realized it until earlier this year. It was also earlier this year that I decided I was going to live my life by four words; "Picture what you want."
And I want a lot of things.
I want, in no particular order:
To lose weight.
To get a job I don't completely hate.
To get a job where I can be 100% financially independent (not mutually exclusive from the above point)
To fall in love (or fall in "Like you enough to not kill you," which is my equivalent)
To get a dog.
To go to Italy.
And to become a kick-ass writer!
Most of all is that I want to FINISH THIS STORY! And maybe write a sequel. So, I'm picturing what I want. Are you with me? Of course you are, you're awesome people like that. I published this story eight years ago on December 14th. I'm going to finish this story before December 14th 2016. Eight years has been long enough-this story is getting finished.
So, with that said, I'd like to thank every single person who has read and enjoyed this story. You truly are the reason why I enjoy writing-I like creating stories that people like to read and engage in. Thank you for your favorites, thank you for your reviews (even when I was being a butt and not updating the story), thank you for being amazing people! So, with that said, I don't know when my next update will be or if I'll have a consistent schedule to go but, but this is getting finished this year!
Stay tuned and hold on to your butts!
