Author's Note: Haha. Sorry that nothing's capitalized. xD I'll change that one day, but right now, i think it's charming without capitalization. ;o Uh, I'd like to point out that I don't own Starbucks, and this was not my idea. This script was written as a request for my friend, Patricia (known as Point-O in the fictionpress community). She plans to make a movie out of it one day, but for now, you can try to imagine everything happening. :O So, enjoy. :)

scene 1

[fades in; a woman sits alone in a cafe table, a steaming Starbucks cup directly in front of her. her chin rests on her palm as she stares at it wistfully. the camera currently faces the woman head on.]

a: i'm glad this happened. i've been in such a state of malaise the past few weeks - i've felt tired, expired, but ever since i met you, i've been so awake! i've never felt more alive!

[camera switches to side view to reveal a is speaking to a cup of coffee]
c: ...

a: -places hands on cheeks and shakes head bashfully- ohh, stop it! you're embarrassing me! -giggles- and no. i think you're the one who's hot. -slides finger seductively down the side of the cup- ooh! ouch! be gentle... you almost burned me.

c: ...

a: -blushes- no! i am not blushing. you're the one with the steaming red cheeks! -person passing by glances at her weirdly- [in a quick flirty whisper] oh, now people are staring!

c: ...

[camera switches to face woman head on]
a: -shocked expression- are... are you sure? -turns head away shyly- but, this is only our first date... it's all going a little too fast for me. -turns back- this will be my first kiss!

[camera switches to side view. the cup of coffee has been moved much closer to the woman than previously. woman puts hand to her mouth, her eyes facing the floor, apparently hesitant about what to do. she then turns to face the cup and wraps her hand around it.]
c: ...

a: oh, you know i can't resist you! -picks it up and slowly brings it to her lips- [in a breathless whisper] you dirty boy. [intimately sips the coffee]

[fade out]

scene 2

[30 minutes later]

[fades in; the camera is again facing the woman head on.]

a: [noticeably irritated. her chin is resting on her palm again, but this time her free hand's fingers clack impatiently on the table.] i... don't know. i just don't know. Our relationship... you just don't seem as hot or passionate about me anymore.

[camera switches to sideview. coffee is no longer steaming.]
c: ...

a: we just don't seem to be communicating anymore! you're not responding to me! i can't take this neglect! i need to feel loved... -glances with sad, somber eyes at the coffee- why can't you understand that.

c: ...

a: no! i'm not saying that we should break up... i... i... i don't know. -leans back and places the back of her hand on her forehead melodramatically- oh, my head hurts.

c: ...

a: -places hands over ears, tightly closes her eyes, and emits a frustrated grunt- don't say that! no! i don't want to break up! -suddenly opens her eyes as if realizing something- oh. my. goodness. i know what this is. you're a gold digger! i've spent so much money on you! -points accusingly- and you! you've never given me anything!

[a cute girl walks by. woman glances at girl, glances at cup, then twists her face angrily.]
c: ...

[camera switches to face woman as she begins to rant resentfully. a dramatic melody begins to play in the background.]
a: YOU! I SAW THE WAY YOU LOOKED AT HER! YOU NEVER LOOK AT ME LIKE THAT ANYMORE WHAT GIVES YOU THE RIGHT TO LOOK AT HER LIKE THAT? we started out well - you were full of warmth; but now i know. i should've noticed the signs. all you wanted to do was make out. and after every session, you'd just grow colder and colder! you... you... -expression changes to shock-

[camera switches to sideview. the cup has advanced dangerously close to the woman. she cranes her head back as she wraps a hand around the cup.]

c: ...

[dramatic melody pauses.]
a: ...no... no! what're you doing! unhand me this instant! stop! -cup shoots up and woman downs the rest of the coffee. she slams the cup back on to the table and lets go, shocked. her eyes water. she slams the table with her palms and stands, glaring at the cup.- you... you pervert! how could you think a kiss would fix any of this! -the tears now stream down- pervert! lecher! you're... you're heartless!

c: ...

a: no, don't try to convince me anymore! you're empty! we're over! -smacks cup down onto the floor and walks out in a huff. the door is heard slamming/bell is heard ringing. after the bell/slam ends, dramatic music ensues as the camera follows the cup rolling.-

[fade out]

scene 3:

[next day]

[fades in. camera faces woman head on. she appears jittery; her hands are laced classroom style. her hair is a mess. her eyes (baggy, btw) look down as she bites her lip.]

a: no... i'm the one who's sorry. i'm really sorry about everything. i overreacted. it was terrible of me. -sighs-

c: ... (coffee is once again full and steaming. :))

a: no! i'm the one who was foolish. i should have never broken up with you. i'm a mess without you! i can't do anything. i get tired. i... i miss your warmth; your heat keeping me company at night. but, i don't know if i can handle another relationship with you.

c: ...

a: -faces coffee in surprise- you will? can you really change?

c: ...

[camera faces woman as she declares confidently]
a: yes! yes! i do forgive you! can you ever forgive me? -looks pitifully at the cup-

[camera switches to side view; the cup is closer again.]
c: ...

a: aww. i love you too. :) -sips with eyes closed contently-

[fades out.]
