Preface
I looked down stared at my hands, what more could I do?
I would do anything, absolutely anything to not be here, not here, not now.
But there was nothing that could change my fate.
I wanted to scream, cry, yell, do something. Yet I stayed silent. What else could you do while hundreds of eyes were watching your every movement?
A cough echoed through the chapel, the priest finished reading. The chapel was silent, and I had never felt more alone.
"Do you, Naomi Moore, take this man to be your lawfully-wedded husband?"
"I do," I whispered.
"Do you, Spencer Taylor, take this woman to be your lawfully-wedded wife?"
"I do," my husband-to-be said. He sounded just as reluctant as I felt.
We were pronounced husband and wife, and from that moment on, nothing would be the same, ever again.
(A/N) I know the ending and the whole thing sounds a bit exaggerated, but I hope it still works. Don't forget to review!
